Does everyone know about Report Header and Footer in report designer? Let’s have a look~

1. Report header

Click menu Template > Report Header to pop up Report Header Editing interface, as shown below:

Note: When adding background picture for header, ensure that the picture width is within 649; otherwise, the picture will be tiled in regardless of the selected display method.

Learn how to define headers and footers in business intelligence taking report header as an example. For example, how to show the current page number and the total page number in the middle of header, and how to display company name at the right of header.

1.1 Insert a page number

Select the middle area and click “Insert a Page Number” at top and click OK after setting the font style.

Click “Insert Text” and input “/” to separate the current page number and the total page number.

Click “Insert Total Page Number” and click OK after setting the font.

1.2 Insert company name

Select the right area. Click “Insert Text” and input company name, as shown below:

Besides text, current page number and total page number, you can insert date, time, picture, line break, etc.

1.3 Set display heigh

After defining the content to be displayed in the header, you have to set the height to hold all contents

etc.

In this way, you have defined the header.Footer definition method is same as that of header.You can also show special contents in special pages based on requirements.

 

2. Report footer

Click menu Template > Report Footer to pop up Report Footer Editing interface, as shown below:

Specific settings are same as those for report header.
Note: When headers and footers are frozen or used together, you cannot see the headers and footers at web side. However, those headers and footers will appear when the template is exported. For details, refer to Freeze.
