We will introduce Aggregate Report Design of FineReport reporting software in this article.The followings are details.

1. Aggregate report design interface

Aggregate Report means a report containing several modules. Each is similar to an independent report or a chart without mutual interference.

Note: When several aggregate blocks are used, drag the Report Type Aggregate Block to the Template Design interface. The operation is same as above, where several aggregate blocks will not influence each other.

2. New aggregate report

Add “New Aggregate Report” in the File Menu. With it, you can directly create an aggregate report.

In workbook creation, when adding sheet, you can add common report and aggregate report; however, in creation of aggregate report, when adding sheet, you can only add aggregate report.

In newly-created aggregated report, when adding sheet, you can only add aggregate report

3. Add Export (excel/word/pdf), Print (pdf, applet and flash) functions

4. Select block

When selecting block for movement, as long as the mouse is not released, the moving block can cover on other blocks and be placed in other blanks over such blocks. However, if the mouse is released when the block is moving and covering the other blocks, the block will be automatically go back to its original position.

When a new component is dragged in, it can only be dragged to blank area. In non-blank area, the system will pop up “No Overlapping Allowed, Please Drag to Blank Area”, as shown below.

5. Inter-block operation

To obtain value of other component cell in the component, directly use formula, like =block1-A1;

Block 1 is the aggregate block name. To view its name, click Movable Aggregate Block button at the right bottom of aggregate block, you can see the aggregate block name (i.e., module name) in the right Attribute table.

6. Preview aggregate report

As the aggregate report exists in a workbook in the form of sheet, and there is a default common template during workbook creation, in preview, the blank template in previous sheet1 will be also previewed. If you don’t want this blank page, directly delete sheet1. In addition, you can create an aggregate report with only one sheet directly via Ctrl+M.
