There are several basic attributes of the data column in our Finereport BI.

1. Description

In report designer, select the data column cell and click the Basic at right top or double click the cell. You can set basic attributes of the data column, as shown below:

1.1 Data column selection

Data column selection is to bind the fields in Data Set to the cell. In Bind Data Column section, we have described how to select a data column through drag. Apart from this, we can select data column via drop-down box, as shown below:

1.2 Parent cell setting

Parent cell setting means Parent-Child Cell Setting, which can be set in Extension Attributes.Or, you can set them in Basic Setting of Data Column. The operation methods are same, which will not be repeated again.

1.3 Data setting

Data setting is to change Data display mode.

1.4 Extension direction

Extension direction means the extensibility mentioned in Extension Attributes.
