Description<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>As each column of column chart and each line of line chart indicate a series of elements, which are important parts of <a title=\"FineReport data analysis\" href=\"\/en\/help\/data-analysis\" target=\"_blank\">data analysis<\/a> and <a title=\"FineReport BI and reporting tool data visualization\" href=\"\/en\/help\/data-visualization\" target=\"_blank\">data visualization<\/a>, we can click <span style=\"color: purple;\">Chart Attribute Table &#8211; Style &gt; Series<\/span><br \/>\nin the Chart Toolbar to configure series styles as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/011101.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Different types of charts have different series of attributes. In this section, we will take column chart, a good <a title=\"FineReport BI and reporting tool\" href=\"\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">reporting tool<\/a> and <a title=\"FineReport reporting and business intelligence tool\" href=\"\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">business intelligence tool<\/a>, as an example to describe them.<\/p>\n<p>As indicated in this section, column charts and bar charts have the same series of attributes;<\/p>\n<p>Line charts, area charts and scatter charters have the same series of attributes;<\/p>\n<p>Pie charts, bubble charts, radar charts, stock charts, dashboards, range charts, combination charts and maps have different series of attributes and Gantt charts has no series of attributes.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"2_Color_matching\"><strong>2. Color matching<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In the Drop-down Box, select series color from all styles set in <span style=\"color: blue;\">Pre-defined Chart Style<\/span><br \/>\n. Series color defaults to the default option in Pre-defined Chart Style and can also be customized.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.1 Default<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apply default colors to series as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/011102.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Default color matching scheme depends on the color matching style selected in <span style=\"color: blue;\">Pre-defined Chart Style<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.2 Custom<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Color matching can be customized in 2 ways, including Precision Setting and Gradient Color.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Precision Setting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Select <span style=\"color: purple;\">Custom &gt; Precision Setting<\/span> for color matching as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/011103.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: red;\">Note: total 32 kinds of color are available in Precision Setting, each of which is precisely selected by the user. Click small blocks of color in the interface, \u201cSelect Color\u201d dialog will pop up, in which you can select color as required. All colors displayed in the chart are also horizontally obtained from such 32 kinds of colors in turn. If number of series is more than 32, then these colors will be recycled. In Precision Setting, all color charts are modified in the color chart of default color matching<\/span>.<br \/>\nSelect <span style=\"color: purple;\">Custom &gt; Gradient Color<\/span> for color matching as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/011104.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: purple;\">Note: if only 2 series are available, then these series indicate start color and end color respectively. If 3 or more series are available, the customized color will gradually change from start color to end color<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"3_Gradient_Style\"><strong>3. Gradient Style<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Total 6 kinds of styles are available, including normal, flat 3D, gradient highlight, up and down gradient, transparent and default.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/011105.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: red;\">Note: default style refers to the style set in<\/span> <span style=\"color: blue;\">Pre-defined Chart Style<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"4_Series_Interval\"><strong>4. Series Interval<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Column charts and bar charts support settings of Class Interval and Series Interval, of which Series Interval defaults to -25 and Class Interval defaults to 100%. For example, we can set the Series Interval as &#8211; 50% and Class Interval as 103 as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/011106.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: red;\">Note: Series Interval and Class Interval only apply to column charts and bar charts<\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Contents1.
