Let&#8217;s have a look on them.<\/p>\n<p>Click <span style=\"color: purple;\">File &gt; Option<\/span> to pop up Option set box, as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/201671014.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some common settings in <a title=\"FineReport BI and reporting tool report designer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/features\/report-designer\" target=\"_blank\">report designer<\/a> will be described below.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: red;\">Note: After setting this interface, corresponding configuration information will be saved in <span style=\"color: black;\">C:\\Documents and Settings\\Administrator\\.FineReport80\\FineReportEnv.xml<\/span>.<span style=\"color: red;\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"toc_container\" class=\"toc_transparent no_bullets\"><p class=\"toc_title\">Contents<\/p><ul class=\"toc_list\"><li><a href=\"#1_Designer_language_switch\">1. Control to display all oracle tables or not<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n<h3><span id=\"1_Designer_language_switch\">1. Designer language switch<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>For Simplified Chinese Designer, default language is Simplified Chinese. Or, you can switch the language to English, Japanese or Chinese Traditional in <span style=\"color: purple;\">Option &gt; Common &gt; Language Selection<\/span> as shown above. After switch, please restart the designer.<\/p>\n<p>Click Designer Language to view corresponding definitions of built-in languages of FineReport, as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/201671015.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"699\" height=\"466\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"2_log_export_configuration\">2. log export configuration<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Control log information in designer in <span style=\"color: purple;\">Option &gt; Advanced &gt;log Export Configuration<\/span> and <span style=\"color: purple;\">log Level Setting<\/span>. It will not control the server side.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/201671016.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"592\" height=\"543\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For details, refer to <span style=\"color: blue;\">log Output Level<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: red;\">Note: debug means to output all SQL execution statement logs on the basis of INFO level.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"3_Ruler_unit_setting\">3. Ruler unit setting<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>There are times to set length, width and size in the report designer. Length unit can be customized and default unit is mm. You can configure length unit in <span style=\"color: purple;\">Option &gt; Advanced &gt; Ruler<\/span> unit configuration.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finereport.com\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/fanruan\/images\/201671017.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"4_Port_number_setting\">4. Port number setting<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The default port number is 8075, i.e., the port used when you click Page Break Preview in the designer to view reports.<\/p>\n<p>If the 8075 port has been occupied in your machine, you can set another port. After setting, please restart designer.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"5_Control_to_display_all_oracle_tables_or_not\">5. Control to display all oracle tables or not<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When connecting Oracle database with Data Connection, if Display All Oracle Tables is checked, no matter who logs in the Oracle database, all tables will be displayed.
